Below are some of the wheels that Revolution Wheels have produced, the range is not limited to these, so if you are interested please get in touch. On average a carbon pair of wheels costs £1200, although no two pairs are the same, so please use as a guide.

Project Carbon

Photo of the ProjectCarbon wheels The Project Carbons were developed for Sean Yates, the former Tour De France Rider and then Discovery Channel Directeur Sportif. Consisting of 42mm Deep section Carbon rims, tubular of course. Royce titanium hubs, tied and soldered 3 cross spokes on the rear wheel. The front wheel used bladed spokes and all the spokes were washered to ensure longevity. Put simply, super strong, great lateral stiffness, what more would you expect for one of the greats of British cycling.

Special Project: Wooden Wheels

Revolution Wheels doesn't just stick to modern materials, such as carbon and titanium. The reputation of Chaz Currys skills as a wheel builder saw him approached to build a pair of antique wooden rimmed wheels for a restoration project. The 1930's wooden rims, originals, were built onto a pair of original Campagnolo large flange track hubs of the same era. Very few artisans exist today with the skills to work with such delicate materials. The rims were a laminate of bamboo and walnut, and are of exquisite craftsmanship.
